Interpersonal Violence Peer Support (IVPS) will be a volunteer group of confidential student peers, trained to assist fellow students who request support, options, resources, or information on University policies, procedures, and reporting options due to an experience of interpersonal violence.
IVPS is a partnership program between the Title IX Office, Voices Against Violence at the Counseling and Mental Health Center, and Student Emergency Services in the Office of the Dean of Students.
Currently, we are recruiting student volunteers for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Welcome to our first monthly VAV Spotlight!
VAV wants to celebrate and highlight individuals or groups in the UT community who are doing work to support survivors and create a safer campus.
The first interview is with Lauren White, Interim Prevention and Outreach Specialist for Voices Against Violence
