Far From Home: COVID-19 Discussion Group for International Students

Thursdays, 1pm - 2pm CST

2/4 - 5/6

Stephanie Dodoo

Please note that discussion groups are not therapy groups.

All CMHC groups are free and confidential.

This virtual discussion group is open to international students who are experiencing increased distress related to the COVID-19 pandemic and sociopolitical climate. International students may be struggling with a unique type of isolation, uncertainty and stress due to distance from home or from the UT campus for those who have returned home. Other discussion topics may include dealing with travel restrictions, challenges related to online learning (e.g., potential language and time zone barriers) and navigating difficult changes in social environment.

Registration - Follow the link below to enter your email address by the evening prior to the group session. This allows the facilitator to provide you with the Zoom link through which you can access the group.
