Meets at the SSB - 5th floor
Burdine / Bailey-Smith

Friday Group (starts September 8th)  2pm-2:50pm

All groups are free and confidential.

The Campus Climate Support Group, is a safe, supportive, and confidential space for students to express any concerns or fears they have about campus climate. As a student at UT, events around the world, nation, and campus can make you feel vulnerable and create intense emotional reactions such as anger, anxiety, frustration, isolation, sadness, and self-doubt to name a few. In addition to events that make headlines, the day-to-day experiences of microaggression in academic and social life can also have a significant impact on your mental health. This group helps you share safely with others who have similar concerns, connect with them, and feel less isolated by your experiences. The group will also address positive coping strategies and resources available at CMHC and the wider UT campus to address these concerns. This is a drop in group and there is no cost to attend this or any other group offered by CMHC.
