Danie White (pronouns: she/her) is a Counselor in the Counselors in Academic Residence (CARE) Program, a program that provides mental health services in the School of Architecture. Danie supports Architecture students by offering individual, group, crisis, and outreach services. Danie seeks to help students reach both their academic and personal goals. Danie offers workshops and outreach services to discuss the everyday stressors, anxiety, and pressure students may experience. Danie is also available to provide consultation to staff and faculty about student concerns.
Areas of professional interest include trauma, grief, and attachment, along with family and relationship concerns. Danie’s approach is person-centered and systemic in nature and can be helpful when things feel overwhelming.
